Ex-Dollar member David admits there’s not much he likes about jungle life. “I don’t like heights, I don’t like creepy crawlies,” he says. “I don’t like uncooked food, I don’t like the dark, I’m not a great swimmer and I hate mud.”

However, David is a big fan of I’m a Celebrity… and reckons his favourite past campmates have been Biggins, Peter Andre and Katie Price. So would he like to be the next King of the Jungle?

“I don’t have a game plan. You might get away with that for a couple of days but it’s not really what the show is about.” David’s far more interested in finding jungle love. “If you go out looking for it, you never find it,” he says. “And then before you know it you’re talking to someone and you think ‘hello, she’s quite nice’.
