“I think that I’m quite aggravating. When I’m bored I aggravate people for my own pleasure,” says ex-EastEnders star Joe – who looks set to cause a storm in the jungle.

But will Joe get a taste of his own medicine? “My friends and family are just looking forward to seeing me in really awkward positions. Because I’m a bit of a practical joker and play tricks on my mum and my friends, I think they see this as a payback for me. I think they’re going to thoroughly enjoy seeing me squirm.”

According to Joe, that won’t be too hard in the bush. “If I found a snake in my sleeping bag it would be the funniest thing that you have ever seen. I can’t stand things like that. I can’t stand rats or snakes or anything like that. I’m dreading the Bushtucker Trials.”
