Simon is worried his “friendliness” could be seen as flirting by his female campmates. “I never think I’m a big flirt but people say, ‘You are, Si, you are’. I don’t want to be flirting – it’s not fair on my girlfriend.”

Simon’s other fear is getting kidnapped by a gorilla. “I think I’ll be sleeping with one eye open. You’ve seen those movies - you don’t mess with things in the jungle.”
