Madcap presenter Timmy Mallett reckons his biggest jungle fear will be missing chocolate biscuits. “I’m a man who likes his chocolate biscuits and when I get hungry I get hungry NOW.”

“I’m extremely crabby when I’m hungry,” he adds. However, the star does have a passion that will come in handy – fires. “I like bonfires. The fire brigade came to mine last month because I set light to one of the trees by accident. So trust me with the bonfire, I’ll be fine with that!”

Timmy also says he hopes to get on well with everyone. “There’ll be occasions when I get stroppy. But I think the public likes to see us out of the comfort zones and going, ‘Oo-er’,” he says. “I think there will be quite a few oo-er moments. I can be rather abrupt and I don’t suffer fools.”
