After twenty two stars and twelve days in the jungle, Silksy’s the first celeb to go.
It was the first public vote-off and nerves were a’jangling as we all wondered who would get the boot from the bush.
And when Ant and Dec read out Robert’s name, no one was more shocked than the man himself.
“I didn’t want to be out tonight, let’s be honest,” he told the boys. “But Jan is here hopefully, so it’s win-win.”
And after the Trials and tribulations he went through, Robert Kilroy-Silk must be chuffed with his jungle experience.
“It was challenging,” he sighed. “I never thought I would do the Live Trial but I was pleased I completed it.”
No thanks to Timmy and his loud hysterics, perhaps?
“We had a bit of a run-in on another programme,” Robert explained. “But we put what happened in the Live Trial to one side and got on with it.
“Whether I’m nasty or nice, that was me in there. I try to consider other people and I try to do what’s right and fair.”
And who would Nicola’s camp “father-figure” like to become jungle King or Queen?
“I would like Martina to win,” he declared, before hot-footing it down the bridge for a hug with wife Jan.
One down, 11 to go. But who will be next?
